Micah Parsons’ fraudulent fandom continues to raise big questions

The plot around Cowboys star and wannabe Eagle Micah Parsons’ fandom continues to thicken. The alleged Phillies fan claimed the Golden State Warriors as his favorite NBA team in a tweet after attending a Dallas Mavericks game.
Micah Parsons posted himself court-side:
This poor bastard. Being a Cowboys, Phillies, and Warriors fan from Harrisburg is some of the most ridiculous shit I have ever heard in my life. How does that even happen?
Look, I won’t even get on Micah Parsons for repping the Mavs since he plays in Dallas, but it really seems like this dude is just rooting for whoever’s hot. The only way he could be a Warriors fan is if his family were fans when they played in Philadelphia until 1962, and then kept rooting for the team for *checks watch* 60 years.
I don’t buy that.
At this point, I’m not fully convinced he’s really a fan of any of these teams. Hell, he showed up to the World Series claiming to be a Phillies fan and rocked a tan hoodie…

Luka Dončić is an incredible player and all, but you gotta show Bryce Harper and the Phils some respect and at least rock a cap. Parsons’ whole vibe is off, and this tweet did not help his case in the slightest.
We live in a free country, he can root for who he wants, but that total lack of fandom continuity has to cause moments of extreme dysphoria. I almost have to feel for him, he’s a pretty good guy as far as Cowboys go and does a ton of good in his community, so it’s tough to see.
Luckily for Micah Parsons, the Eagles will have loads of cap space this off-season, and he can finally suit up for the team he’s always dreamt of playing for.
