Joseph, 6’4″, 330 pounds, has spent the previous two seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers but has yet to be on an NFL roster in 2022. When an opportunity opened up in Philadelphia, Joseph thought it was a perfect fit.
“I’ve been watching this team because they were 8-0. So I was watching them every week,” Joseph said on Thursday after signing with the Eagles. “I wanted to see what made them so good. And just seeing that they’re well-balanced is pretty big. Because right now I think they’re the only team in the NFL that’s well-balanced in every room.”
The ultimate goal here is to get another ring, and I’m going to do everything in my power to make sure we can get that done.”
Joseph will wear No. 72 for the Eagles. Contract details for newly-acquired Ndamukong Suh, who will wear No. 74, have yet to be revealed.
If Linval Joseph has any juice left, he’ll be a nice rotational piece for the Eagles.
