Mecole Hardman exposed for lying about his broken TV to the American people

Chiefs receiver and Very Fast Man Mecole Hardman fired off a seemingly innocuous tweet this claiming to have broken his TV last night watching his team play the Chargers on Thursday Night Football. Unfortunately for him, Bussin’ With The Boys immediately caught him in a lie, and whatever point he was trying to make was immediately rendered moot.
Hardman truly fooled nobody with this one:
Talk about one of the most low-effort lies in human history.
I mean, this is capping in its purest form. He lied about this for absolutely zero reason, and paid the price of getting clowned on social media pretty much instantly.
Why even tweet this out? At first glance it seems like he’s trying to pander to KC fans by showing how committed he is to the Chiefs and how much he loves the game of football. Even so, all this does is make him look silly.
Granted, if this was a high-concept troll, then it’s hilarious. That being said, I don’t entirely believe that’s was Hardman was going for with this one.
He essentially opted for the “fake broken iPhone screen” wallpaper that kids have done since you could start customizing iPhone backgrounds. You know the one I’m talking about.
