Injury Update: Joel Embiid expected to miss a few games with a left mid-foot sprain

The Philadelphia 76ers gave an injury update this morning on Joel Embiid, who is dealing with a left mid-foot sprain.
Â
Embiid will miss the upcoming back-to-back games tomorrow and Wednesday night and will be re-evaluated in the coming days.Â
Joel Embiid Out with Left Mid-Foot Sprain
The Sixers really can’t catch a break. James Harden isn’t expected to return until early December, Tyrese Maxey is out 3-4 weeks with a small fracture in his foot, and Tobias Harris has missed the last few games dealing with soreness in his hip.Â
It’s also a bummer that Embiid won’t be available tomorrow night when Ben Simmons takes the court at the Wells Fargo Center for the first time since he quit on the team last season. That was a matchup I think every 76ers fan was looking forward to seeing.
The 76ers will face the Brooklyn Nets at home tomorrow night and the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday on the road. From there, they have two more games on the road against the Orlando Magic before returning home to face the Atlanta Hawks. They’ll close out November in Cleveland on the 30th against the Cavaliers.Â
Listen, I know it’s been tough sledding for the 76ers to start the year but there is so much basketball left to play. As we all know, health is the most important thing for the Sixers at the end of the season. We’ll be fine. Just try not to completely lose your mind with a “process” lineup for the rest of the month.
