Ohio State let Michigan plant a flag at the 50-yard line after 22-point loss during rivalry week, proving they are the softest team in College Football

Rivalry week in College Football didn’t disappoint over the weekend, highlighted by a 22-point victory for Michigan on the road against Ohio State.
Following the game, Michigan decided they would take a flag and run it out to the 50-yard line and plant it right in the middle of the Ohio “O” logo.
Michigan Plants The Flag at Ohio State After 22-Point Win
Honestly, I get the excitement. Whoever wins that game certainly has the right to do whatever the hell they want, even more so when it’s rivalry week between Michigan and Ohio State. Still, that shit should have never happened, right?
Is there zero pride at Ohio State? Your season just got completely ruined and you got thrown out of the college football playoffs. Now you’re letting Michigan plant a flag at your 50-yard line?
Yikes.
Trust me. I have no dog in this fight. West Virginia University football is in complete shambles but you cannot let that happen (again). Remember, Ohio State loves to let opposing teams disrespect them in their own house.
Baker Mayfield did the same exact thing when Oklahoma beat the Buckeyes.
At least Troy Smith, a Columbus Ohio native raised in Cleveland, Ohio and an Ohio State alumni, took issue with Michigan planting the flag.
Side Note: I still don’t like Troy Smith after he and the Buckeyes took the Mountaineers spot in the National Championship and yes, I know it’s WVU’s fault for blowing it against Pitt. Whatever.
Anyways, I’m not calling for an all-out brawl on the 50-yard line but someone has to do something. You can’t just head back into the locker room while Michigan defaces your logo on your own football field.
And for those of you online saying that this was disrespectful by Michigan, it wasn’t.
This is a rivalry game. These teams are supposed to hate each other. Honestly, there should be so much more of this in college sports. Ideally when it does happen, a team like Ohio State will stick up for themselves if it’s happening to them.
As for the “act like you’ve been there before” comments, Michigan never has been there. At one point, they lost 15 of 16 games to Ohio State. These kids never won in “The Shoe” and have every right to celebrate, even more so when there’s no resistance from the Buckeyes.
