Yikes: The Washington Commanders screwed up another Sean Taylor memorial and this time might be the worst on yet

The Washington Commanders unveiled a new statue in honor of Sean Taylor inside FedEx Field yesterday.
Sean Taylor Memorial Inside FedEx Field
I’m sorry but that is literally a wire mannequin with a Sean Taylor jersey on top of it. According to reports, they made it with wire so it’s “easily movable” whenever the Commanders finally burn FedEx Field to the ground.
Could you imagine being in the planning meeting? They had to say something along the lines of “Let’s create a tribute to Sean Taylor and check it off our To-Do List as quickly as possible with as little time and effort as possible.”
Side Note: Honestly, it sounds like that quote from The Liberty Line crew but it also works with the statue.
Kyle Pagan over at Crossing Broad had the perfect thought about what to do with this embarrassing statue.
Literally, there’s not much more to even write about given the fact that the Commanders put a Sean Taylor uniform on a steel mannequin. It’s literally the most insulting thing ever.
The statue itself is so poorly constructed and there’s even pictures online showing the lack of attention to detail, with the socks being all jumbled and disconnected. Just look at this…

I wish I could say it ends there but unfortunately it keeps getting worse. Washington has continuously botched honoring Sean Taylor over and over again.
Then of course, they even had Jackson Mahomes dancing on his number 21 logo a few years back.
Do the right thing and make Sean Taylor a statue and stop embarrassing yourselves, Washington. I promise you, it’s not only opposing fanbases laughing at you over and over again. It’s your own as well.
