Calum Scott’s 2022 Spotify Numbers saw immense jump thanks to Phillies World Series run

With the end of each year comes everyone’s “Spotify Wrapped,” and Calum Scott saw a massive boost in his numbers in comparison to 2021.
Sure, you can be like a lot of people, including TLL’s very own Drew Smith, who gives absolutely zero shits about what anyone listens to throughout each year. Or, you can be that person who makes their Spotify Wrapped a personality trait.
I do enjoy looking back at Spotify and seeing my top songs and artists from each year. After an improbable World Series run from the Phillies taken over by one song, it was a pretty easy guess as to what my top song of the year would be.
While Phillies fans around the world were blasting the song through the streets, the bars, and more after every win, the song took over the tri-state area for the best month of Phillies baseball since 2011. Garrett Stubbs’ locker room playlist was released a little bit before the playoffs started, which really kicked up the hype for the song and so many more.
As Calum Scott received his wrapped numbers for 2022 just a few days ago, his streams doubled in comparison to 2021.
Calum Scott Breaks 1 BILLION Streams in 2022 Thanks to Philadelphia
Calum Scott owes a big thank you to Kyle Schwarber, who brought the song over from the Boston Red Sox from their World Series run a few years back. Scott’s song truly blew up throughout the Phillies playoff run, getting remixed by our guys, The Armentani Bros, and even played by the Philadelphia Orchestra.
A lot of these streams also have to do with Scott’s newest album, “Bridges,” which he released in June, his first album since 2018. You can listen to Scott’s newest album here.
