Christian Pulisic cleared to play vs the Netherlands in World Cup Round of 16

USMNT talisman and handsome fella Christian Pulisic has officially been cleared to play against the Netherlands in the World Cup Round of 16. The American No. 10 sustained a nasty injury scoring the decisive goal against Iran to send the US through to the knockout stages, finishing off a slick run of play and the opposition in one fell swoop.
Seeing Christian writhe around on the ground like that, most Americans assumed their golden boy had taken a shot to the nuts. Twitter users were clamoring to donate their own testes to Pulisic to ensure his swift recovery.
Fortunately, it never came to that.
Pulisic was diagnosed with a “pelvic contusion,” but claimed he “didn’t get hit in the balls”:
Regardless of what the injury was, it put him in the hospital for a short spell. Even so, he managed to celebrate the win from his bed and linked up with the boys in the team hotel.

Getting Pulisic back is crucial for the United States as the prepare to take on the Netherlands on Saturday 12/3. The Oranje have an immensely talented but young team, much like the US.
What they have that we don’t, however, is a history of World Cup success. Fortunately, Christian Pulisic has won club soccer’s biggest trophy, the UEFA Champions League, which will prove as vital experience to share with the rest of the squad.
