Brandon Graham Named NFC Defensive Player of the Week

Eagles DE Brandon Graham has been named NFC Defensive Player of the Week after his dominant performance vs. the New York Giants.
Brandon Graham Wins 2nd Defensive Player of the Week Award
Brandon Graham had one of his best games as an Eagle on Sunday, tying his career high with three total sacks vs. Daniel Jones and the abysmal Giants O-Line.
Graham has now won the DPOW award twice this season, becoming the first player in the NFL to win the award twice and the third Eagle ever to win it twice (Eric Allen, Seth Joyner). The Eagles have now had eight Eagles win weekly awards in 13 weeks.

Brandon Graham has had an incredible comeback after tearing his Achilles in 2021. Graham, 34, is having one of the best seasons of his Eagles career. Racking up 9 TFLs, 13 QB hits, 8.5 sacks, and a nomination for Walter Payton Man of the Year, BG, although the award typically goes to skill positions, really has a great case for Comeback Player of the Year.
A limited snap count has enhanced BG’s production, thanks to Howie Roseman stacking up the defensive line prior to the season all the way up until the trade deadline. The Eagles’ defense has been dominant in 2022, leading the league in sacks, takeaways, interceptions, opponent yards per play, and more.
