Birds Bets: Eagles open up as 1-point underdogs for their Christmas Eve matchup with Dallas

Despite taking home their 13th win of the season on Sunday, the Eagles opened up as one-point underdogs to the Dallas Cowboys for their Week 16 contest on Christmas Eve.
Dallas is fresh off an overtime loss to Jacksonville in which they blew a 27-10 second half lead. Shoutout Doug Pederson.
Here’s a quick look at the lines for Eagles-Cowboys, per DraftKings Sportsbook.
Eagles at Cowboys betting lines:
SPREAD | POINTS | MONEY | |
Eagles | +1 | O 51 | -110 |
Cowboys | -1 | U 51 | -110 |
As it stands, 80 percent of the money on DraftKings is going towards Philadelphia, which shouldn’t really surprise anyone.
Fanduel Sportsbook currently has Philadelphia as 1.5-point underdogs next week.
On the season, Philly is 8-6 against the spread. They’re on a bit of a hot streak, going 3-1 against the spread over their last four games.
As for Dallas, they’re also 8-6 against the spread this season. Unlike the Birds, the Cowboys have been a little down on their luck recently, going 1-3 against the spread over their past four matchups.
As the week progresses, this line will surely fluctuate.
If the Eagles manage to take home another W on Saturday, they’ll officially win the NFC East and clinch a first-round bye in the NFC playoffs. Despite losing on Sunday to Douggie P, Dallas still clinched a playoff spot thanks to the Giants 20-12 win over Washington.
