Hold your breath, Eagles fans.
According to multiple reports, QB Jalen Hurts suffered a shoulder sprain during Sunday’s win over Chicago and could be out for the next two weeks.

Jimmy Kempski of Philly Voice reported earlier today that Hurts received x-rays following the game, checking on his throwing shoulder that hit the ground when tackled by Bears DE Trevis Gipson in the third quarter. Hurts was able to finish the game and even threw a 68-yard pass to AJ Brown in the final period.
The injury isn’t expected to be long-term, but it looks like it’ll be Gardner Minshew time this Saturday vs. Dallas. The Eagles need to win one of their final three games to clinch the NFC East title and a first-round bye.
Philadelphia’s primary focus as of now is having their MVP-candidate healthy for the postseason.
Update: According to NBC10’s John Clark, Jalen Hurts is expected to be ready for the playoffs. The sprained shoulder isn’t considered serious and x-rays came back negative, revealing no broken bones.
