Eagles veteran sends cryptic Tweet, predicts Super Bowl appearance for Philadelphia

If every Eagles fans was granted one sports related wish for the new year, a Super Bowl victory in February would certainly be atop that wishlist.
At 13-2 and a first round bye within their grasp, the Eagles are poised to make a deep postseason run. Especially if key starters like Lane Johnson and CJ Gardner-Johnson get completely healthy by the start of postseason play.
Defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, who signed with the team midseason, decided to share his new years wishes via Twitter. While he didn’t explicitly state how he envisions his 2023 playing out, it’s pretty obvious what the veteran defensive lineman is getting at.
Of course, Super Bowl LVII will be played in Arizona on February 12. And I’m assuming he’s made some new friends since joining the Eagles in November. Yep, this is a cryptic Super Bowl prediction from Mr. Suh.
If I’m being honest, this went completely over my head when I initially saw the Tweet. My dumbass thought, “Oh, maybe he’s friends with some Cardinals players? Maybe that’s where he’s going to go in free agency.” It wasn’t until I scrolled through the replies that I understood what Suh was referring to. Silly me.
I’ve never been a fan of players predicting victories or championships. But hey, at least Suh did it without actually doing it. He has a clear out if he’s ever questioned on it. Just tell reporters he’s excited to take an offseason vacation in AZ. Easy.
