The Chicago Bears land No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft thanks to last-minute TD from the Houston Texans

The Chicago Bears clinched the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft after the Houston Texans beat the Indianapolis Colts on a last-minute touchdown and 2-point conversation in Week 18.
The Bears were locked in with the second pick after losing to the Minnesota Vikings today, but the Texans then scored on a fourth-and-20 and converted the go-ahead 2-point attempt, which allowed the Bears to leapfrog them for the first pick in the NFL Draft.

After the game, Houston Texans head coach Love Smith spoke with the media and delivered one of the most generic “football guy” quotes ever.
“Whenever you play, you play to win the game,” Texans head coach Lovie Smith said postgame, according to Brooks Kubena of The Houston Chronicle. “It’s as simple as that.”
Really, I don’t think the Texans falling to No. 2 really changes much for them. Houston is in desperate need of a quarterback and the Bears are locked in with Justin Fields. Outside of the Bears trading the No. 1 pick to another team that is also in need of a quarterback, the Texas should be fine with the second selection.
