Chicago Bears Houston Texans Week 18

The Chicago Bears land No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft thanks to last-minute TD from the Houston Texans

The Chicago Bears clinched the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft after the Houston Texans beat the Indianapolis Colts on a last-minute touchdown and 2-point conversation in Week 18

The Bears were locked in with the second pick after losing to the Minnesota Vikings today, but the Texans then scored on a fourth-and-20 and converted the go-ahead 2-point attempt, which allowed the Bears to leapfrog them for the first pick in the NFL Draft.

Outside of the Bears trading the No. 1 pick to another team that is also in need of a quarterback, the Texas should be fine with the second selection.
