Jersey numbers announced for newest Phillies pitchers Gregory Soto and Craig Kimbrel

Jersey numbers have officially been released for the newest Phillies relief pitchers, Gregory Soto and Craig Kimbrel.
Newest Phillies Jersey Numbers
The last three Phillies to wear #31 (Kimbrel’s number) are Ian Kennedy, Matt Moore, and Jeurys Familia. If that tells you anything about how Kimbrel’s future in Philadelphia will go, he might as well pack his bags now.
David Robertson wore 30 in 2022 for the Phils after being acquired from the Chicago Cubs at the trade deadline. Before that, it was Luke Williams, who wore it for just one year.

Both Soto and Kimbrel were great additions to the roster, as the Fightins now have one of the top bullpens in all of Major League Baseball, if not the best. The mix of Seranthony Dominguez, Jose Alvarado, and Gregory Soto is a nasty trio, mixing in Matt Strahm and Kimbrel as well. Connor Brogdon, Andrew Bellatti, and Bailey Falter will also fill those back-end roles if Falter isn’t the 5th starter until Andrew Painter is ready.
