Wink Martindale: Just because Boston Scott scores on us don’t mean he’s a Giant Killer

Boston Scott vs. the Giants is the true definition of owning a team, but Giants defensive coordinator Wink Martindale can’t accept the truth.
Wink Martindale: “Boston Scott isn’t a Giants killer”
“That stuff predates my time here… Just cause he scored on us doesn’t mean he’s a Giant Killer.”
Listen, I’m not a genius. I’m not even that smart. But if a player has ten touchdowns against your team while only having 16 total in his career, it’s pretty safe to say he owns you.
Scott has played 60 games throughout his five-year career with the Eagles, eight of those games against the New York Giants. In those eight games, Scott has racked up 86 carries for 414 yards and ten touchdowns.

Scott’s domination against the Giants started early in his career when he broke out for 128 yards and a touchdown on December 9th, 2019. His next game of the ’19 season against the Giants was his best one, where he tallied over 140 yards and three total rush touchdowns.
Wink Martindale may be trying to play the reverse psychology card here, which is stupid too. The Giants have looked like absolute fools this week, trying to play the victim card. Hell, they got mad at a guy for eating pizza on a Sunday. These people are lunatics.
Saturday night is going to get ugly. Go Birds.
