Chris Simms was visibly upset on Pro Football Talk, still refusing to give proper credit to Jalen Hurts after blowout win against the New York Giants

Oh man. If there’s one guy who does not like when Jalen Hurts plays good football, it’s Chris Simms.
Throughout the NFL regular season, Simms has doubled and tripled down on his dislike for Hurts.
It started with his quarterback rankings list, continued with his “system quarterback” takes, and went over the edge with Simms ultimately losing his cool and telling ESPN to fuck off because they kept re-sharing all of it.
Chris Simms Jalen Hurts Hate Tour
Now, Jalen Hurts is advancing to the NFC Championship Game and just got done beating the living hell out of the New York Giants on Saturday night.
Hurts completed 16-of-24 passes for 154 yards and two touchdowns. He had an 84% QBR and a 112.2 RTG against the Giants, while also rushing nine times for 34 yards and a touchdown.
Chris Simms however, still isn’t impressed.
“His leadership’s probably the number one thing I think he brings to the table. It permeates throughout the football team.”

Cool. So the only thing Hurts offers is leadership. Got it. Judging by Simms’ previous comments, this one doesn’t even make sense. How is the only thing that Hurts brings to the table “leadership” but at the same time, he’s just a system quarterback and should not be considered in the MVP race?
You tell me Christopher.
