Birds Bets: Eagles open up as slight favorites over 49ers in NFC Championship matchup

It’s officially Conference Championship week and our Philadelphia Eagles will be hosting the San Francisco 49ers for the right to represent the NFC in this year’s Super Bowl. What a time.
Philadelphia absolutely dismantled the New York Giants in their divisional round matchup, putting the G-Men back in their place with a 38-7 drumming. From the opening kickoff, it was a clear mismatch.
As for San Francisco, they managed to squeak by the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night, 19-12. Their defense looked great as always, forcing two turnovers and holding Dak Prescott and Co. to under 300 total yards of offense.
Eagles vs. 49ers in the matchup every football fan has been clamoring to see, and now we’ll finally get it on the second-biggest stage in the sport. Both teams are evenly matched across the board. Both teams have top-flight defenses, top-tier running games, and they’re arguably the two most physical teams in the league.
It’s going to be a good one in South Philly, and the betting lines reflect that.
