Chris Canty: “Jalen Hurts makes the team go…not the other way around.”

FINALLY. A MEMBER OF THE MEDIA THAT RESPECTS JALEN HURTS.
Finally, some praise for Jalen Hurts.
Chris Canty hopped on ESPN Radio earlier today and actually spoke the truth, unlike any other member of the media, about Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Canty said he’s sick of the Jalen Hurts disrespect in the national media. Of course, he’s absolutely correct and I think he deserves a hall pass from Eagles fans after spending is NFL career playing for the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants.
Let Chris Canty Cook
Jalen Hurts is a Top 3 candidate in the MVP race, a 2nd-team All-Pro quarterback, and led the Philadelphia Eagles to the NFC Championship in his second full year as the starter. He led the team to a 14-3 record, which is the best record in the NFL.
We shouldn’t even have to get into Hurts’ numbers at this point, but we’re going to. Hurts threw for 3,700 yards this season with 22 TDs and 6 INTs, completing 66.5% of his passes. Hurts also rushed for 760 yards and 13 TDs, giving him 4,400 total scrimmage yards and 35 total TDs in the regular season.
Hurts broke multiple Eagles and NFL records this season, including Michael Vick’s all-time Eagles record for quarterback rushing yards in a game. At this point, if you’re hating on Jalen Hurts and somehow have the balls to say, Brock Purdy, a third-string QB who was the last pick in the draft, is better than him…please seek help.
Shoutout to those absolute CLOWNS from The Carton Show.
A huge thank you to Chris Canty for actually knowing ball. Hurts and the Eagles take the field Sunday looking to lock up the NFC and secure themselves a trip to Super Bowl LVII.
