Eagles fans can now get the Jason Kelce Mummers hat thanks to a Delco legend

Man, this week might have been the slowest in recent memory. As the entire Delaware Valley prepares for the Philadelphia Eagles to host the San Francisco 49ers, Sunday at 3PM at Lincoln Financial Field, there are plenty of businesses and really, the city itself preparing for what could be yet another Super Bowl appearance for the Birds.
If you’re not quite there yet, I urge you to watch our Philadelphia Eagles NFC Championship Hype video and you’ll be ready to run through the closest wall. Watch here >>
Grease The God Damn Poles
In addition to the street poles getting greased up, local businesses in the Philadelphia area area also preparing for the upcoming celebrations. James May, owner of the James May Costume Company based out of Folsom in Delaware County, is working day and night to hand sew 200 copies of Jason Kelce’s infamous Mummers hat from the Super Bowl parade five years ago.

The custom Jason Kelce Mummers hat is yours to own at $75, which may seem a little pricey but rest assured, all the proceeds from the sale of the hat will go towards the Mummers Against Cancer foundation.
There might be some people out there that think buying this hat in anticipation of a Super Bowl parade is bad luck. People might throw around the term jinx. I’m not one of those people. And if you’re one of those people maybe you should go back and rewatch Jason Kelce’s electric victory speech from that cold February day all those (five) years ago.
Here’s the link to the speech. The NFL makes you go to YouTube to watch it. Yell at them, not us. If you want the simple one-liner Jason Kelce dropped at the end of the speech, just wait until the halfway point of this video.
It hits different in this one, I promise you.
Sunday. 3 PM. Philly.

How to Order a Jason Kelce Mummers Hat
Anybody that wants to buy the Jason Kelce mummers hat can order one at the James May Costume Company at 610-532-3430.
Tell them your old pal Beercan Brain sent you. They’ll have no idea what you’re talking about and possibly hang up, but if you call back and politely ask for a hat I’m sure they’ll hook you up.
