WATCH: Every big play from Jalen Hurts’ historic night in Super Bowl LVII

Despite a historic performance by Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, the Birds ultimately fell in the end, losing 38-35 to the Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII.
As much of a gut-wrenching loss as it was, nobody on the field played a better game than Jalen Hurts last night. Here are all of the highlights from an outstanding game from #1.
Jalen Hurts: Super Bowl LVII Highlights
Jalen Hurts finished the night with 304 passing yards and 70 rushing yards, totaling 374 yards from scrimmage. He completed 27 of his 38 passes for one passing touchdown, along with three touchdowns with his legs. In just Hurts’ second full season, he had a 103.4 rating in the Super Bowl vs. Patrick Mahomes and did everything he possibly could to keep the Eagles in this game.
An unfortunate fumble that led to seven for the Chiefs was Hurts’ only bad play of the night, but as Jalen Hurts always does, he responded. Kansas City tied the game up with a Nick Bolton fumble-recovery touchdown but Hurts brought it right back with a 12-play, 75-yard drive that resulted in a four-yard rushing touchdown for Hurts.
Nobody wanted to see the Eagles go out the way they did, but this season was nothing short of phenomenal. The Eagles finished with a total record of 16-4, broke the all-time sack record, had three skill-position players with over 1,000 yards, and had a quarterback that wins MVP if he never gets hurt. It’s going to be a tough pill to swallow until Week 1 of the 2023 regular season, but watching Jalen Hurts ball out in the biggest game of his life gives us all the confidence in the world for the future of the 24-year-old.
