WATCH: Shane Steichen shares emotional thank you to Eagles players, coaches during introductory press conference with Colts

The Indianapolis Colts officially hired Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen for their vacant head coaching position on Tuesday following his two-year stint in Philly.
Steichen was instrumental in the development of Jalen Hurts and ever since he took over play calling duties in 2021, the Eagles offense never looked back. They had one of the most explosive offensive attacks this season and managed to put up 35 points in a losing effort in Super Bowl LVII – the most points ever scored by a losing team in the Super Bowl.
He didn’t get an opportunity to talk to the Philly media following the big game, but he made sure to thank everyone he worked with in Philly during his emotional introductory press conference.
Shane Steichen – not afraid to show emotion
It has to be really tough going from the gut punch that was Super Bowl LVII to taking a head coaching position just days later. You really have no time to sulk or reflect. Now, Shane Steichen is in charge of leading Indianapolis out of the abyss.
We wish him nothing but the best (except for when he inevitably faces the Eagles).
