If we’re being honest with ourselves, we always knew Jonathan Gannon was a quirky guy.

He did a good job hiding it during his time in Philly. But deep down, there was this weirdness inside of him that was just waiting to burst out. And now, he isn’t holding it back.

Now that Jonathan Gannon is the head coach in Arizona, we’ve seen numerous videos of the former Eagles DC interacting with his new players. It’s been mostly cringe-worthy, but this one…. I don’t really know how to even describe it.

I really wish this video was longer because I need to know how this interaction ended. What the fuck is Jonathan Gannon trying to convey here? Why is he speaking in tongues? Why does he check Rondale Moore out like he’s trying to hit on him at a bar? I NEED clarification god dammit.

It feels like Gannon is just trying too hard to be the cool guy, doesn’t it? I mean, even towards the end of his tenure in Philadelphia, telling fans that his defense was going to gut the Niners before the NFC Championship Game was cool in the moment, but it feels forced in hindsight.

There’s just something off about this guy. And this video will likely haunt Jonathan Gannon for years to come, especially if/when he fails.
