The deal is reportedly worth $19.5M with $12M guaranteed. Edwards, a UDFA back in 2019, grew up a Bears fan and is now set to return home. Edwards recorded 159 tackles in 2022, second most in franchise history and seventh in the NFL. He also wore the green dot for Philly’s defense, meaning he was the primary point of contact between coaches on the field.
With Kyzir White also entering free agency, it’s very possible the Eagles will have two new starting linebackers in 2023. Nakobe Dean time?
