JT Realmuto and Trea Turner return to the lineup, Team USA destroys Canada 12-1

Funny how things worked out last night for Team USA.
After Sunday night’s embarrassing loss to Mexico in a game where JT Realmuto, Kyle Schwarber, and Trea Turner did not start, America stormed back last night, destroying our neighbors to the north, Team Canada 12-1.
Hopefully Team USA manager now realizes that this is not an All-Star game anymore. Last night, New York Mets players Pete Alonso and Jeff McNeil were removed from the starting lineup, while Realmuto and Turner were back in the mix.
Realmuto hit an RBI double in the bottom of the first inning to give Team USA a 4-0 lead and Trea Turner hit a homer in the bottom of the second to put America up 12-1 on Canada.

On the night, Realmuto was 2-for-2 with 2 RBI. Turner was 1-4 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored.
As for the New York Mets that continue to embarrass the United States of America, Pete Alonso was 0-for-1 with a strikeout and Jeff McNeil entered the game in the 7th inning as a defensive replacement after the game was over.
Team USA is now one win away from advancing to the quarterfinals. They will face Columbia (1-1) tomorrow night at 10PM on FS1.
