Report: Eagles sign veteran linebacker who played in every snap last season

Following the loss of both their starting linebackers in free agency, the Eagles have added a veteran to help fill the void.
According to multiple reports, Philadelphia has agreed to terms on a one-year deal with former Bears LB Nicholas Morrow.

Morrow, 27, last played for Chicago after spending four seasons with the Raiders. He missed the entire 2021 campaign due to a foot injury but responded with a career year in 2022, recording 116 tackles (11 for loss), two passes defended, and an interception.
His pass coverage leaves a lot to be desired (allowed a 101.8 passer rating when targeted), but Morrow was reliable for the Bears, playing in every defensive snap last season. Morrow isn’t the linebacker we were hoping for — but as a seasoned mentor for Nakobe Dean, he’s a good fit.
We’ll take that 😏
