WATCH: RGIII ranks Jalen Hurts as the No. 1 QB in the NFC

Following his miraculous performance in Super Bowl 57, you’d be hard pressed to find an NFL pundit talking down on Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts. Racking up 374 total yards and four touchdowns on the sports’ biggest stage, Hurts solidified himself as one of the best signal callers in the league.
Former Washington quarterback turned ESPN analyst Robert Griffin III couldn’t agree more. During a segment on ESPN’s morning show “Get Up,” RGII dropped his top-five quarterbacks in the NFC, assuming Aaron Rodgers leaves Green Bay for the Big Apple.
Of course, the former Heisman Trophy winner placed Jalen Hurts atop that list.

As Griffin puts it, “Jalen Hurts is the best quarterback in the NFC, and it’s a big gap between him and everyone else.” I second that opinion.
While some fans are drowning in misery knowing the team won’t look exactly the same next year, having Hurts under center should put fans’ minds at ease. He’s the best quarterback in the conference, which means the Eagles will have a shot at the Super Bowl. It’s simple mathematics.
