Apparently Meek Mill is working behind the scenes with the Patriots to get Lamar Jackson to New England

Philadelphia native Meek Mill is apparently working behind the scenes to get Lamar Jackson to sign with the New England Patriots.
According to reports, Patriots owner Robert Kraft said that Meek Mill texted him 3-4 days ago saying Lamar Jackson wanted to come to New England.
Kraft responded by saying that would be Bill Belichick’s decision to make.
Robert Kraft on Meek Mill texting him about Lamar Jackson
Gotta be honest, I don’t like that one bit.
Sorry Meek. It appears we have finally reached the crossroads of your sports fandom. I have constantly looked past your relationship with Robert Kraft due to the fact that you’ve done a lot of good in the community by working with the Patriots’ owner on donating millions to social justice causes, but there’s only so many times we can turn a blind eye.
Unless your text was prefaced with “Hey Robert, I know we whooped that ass in Super Bowl LII, maybe you need a new quarterback because Brady and Mac Jones just ain’t it. Maybe try Lamar Jackson under center?” then really, no Philadelphia Eagles or Philly sports fan in general should be happy to see Meek working behind the scenes for Lamar Jackson and the New England Patriots.

As my guy Kevin Kinkead said over on Crossing Broad, “you’re either a true Birds fan or a sell out” and unfortunately it appears that Meek Mill is selling out.
I’ll be more than happy to forgive him if this is because Lil Uzi Vert had his song become the Philadelphia Eagles anthem last season. That song was absolutely horrible and should have never been anointed the Eagles’ playoff anthem.
If that’s the case, then maybe Lil Uzi Vert is to blame after all and Meek can get another free pass on this one, but I’m not so sure that’s the case unfortunately.
