Phillies Names to Watch Throughout AAA
- Weston Wilson: Wilson impressed in Spring Training, and although the Phillies don’t have a spot for him at the moment, don’t rule out a potential debut if the team is in massive need of a first baseman.
- Hans Crouse: Even after a brutal 2022 season, Crouse returns to AAA as the 25th-ranked Phillies prospect, a fall from once a Top 100 prospect in the entire game. If he impresses, that’s another emergency bullpen arm / short starter.
- Michael Plassmeyer: Plassmeyer was in the running for the 5th starting spot heading into Spring Training, but a tough month has him starting down in AAA.
This list all but confirms yesterday’s projected Phillies Opening Day roster, which had Yunior Marte and Andrew Vasquez taking the last two spots in the Phillies bullpen.
