WATCH: Megan Thee Stallion throws out first pitch in Houston to Astros’ first baseman and super fan David Hensley

This will be the last MLB Opening Day article I’ll post this morning, but Megan Thee Stallion caught the attention of baseball fans across America while throwing out the first pitch for the Houston Astros.
Megan Thee Stallion Houston Astros First Pitch
Shoutout to the camera man for perfectly positioning himself as Megan Thee Stallion walked onto to the field to throw out the first pitch.
Also, who would have that that first baseman David Hensley was such a big Megan Thee Stallion fan? The San Diego California native who has only 29 at-bats in the major leagues was all smiles meeting one of his favorite artists yesterday.

Wait, that’s why he was smiling, right? I can’t really be the judge because full transparency, I’ve never heard a Megan Thee Stallion song in my life. She seems like a nice girl though, besides the fact she’s a fan of the worst baseball team in America.
Regardless, David Hensley is clearly a huge fan and I’m very confident that the placement of not one, but both of his hands while hugging Megan Thee Stallion had anything to do with the big smile on his face.
David Hensley is a Megan Thee Stallion super fan. Obviously.
Honestly, I’d rather go with Demi Bagby, the American CrossFit athlete (not a real thing but whatever) who’s a social media influencer, doing flips before throwing out the first pitch.
Why? Because I refuse to give the Houston Astros any type of love, regardless of who’s involved. At least with Demi Bagby, we know the San Diego Padres are soft and made light work of them in the NLCS last season.
Major League Baseball should really focus on promoting the first pitch more than they do. Let’s get all types of wild shit happening before baseball games, right? It’s better than whatever the St. Louis Cardinals thought they were doing yesterday by celebrating their NL Central Championship yesterday.
(It was obviously a Ford F150 marketing campaign)
I doubt they’ll take my advice. They still can’t figure out how to properly advertise the Field of Dreams game that happens every year without anyone paying attention, so hoping the capitalize on another ballpark attraction seems rather unlikely.
LIVE WRITING UPDATE: MEGAN THEE STALLION SINGS WAP?!
Oh man. Why didn’t the Houston Astros let her perform this song before the first pitch of Opening Day? If you wanted to really get things moving in the right direction for the game of baseball, forget the pitch clock, banning the shift, and making the bases bigger. Just send Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion out there to sing WAP for everyone in attendance.
That type of shit would probably be a smashing hit in Houston.
