The New York Mets partnership patch is absolutely amazing

The New York Mets unveiled their new sponsorship patch today on Twitter and the result was exactly what you’d expect from the Mets organization.
New York Mets Sponsor Patch:
Obviously, as a Phillies fan, this is the greatest thing I have ever seen in my life.
It’s so bad and of course, it’s the Mets jersey. Honestly, it makes the Phillies home opener getting postponed a little easier to handle today. That patch looks bigger than the bases the MLB enlarged this season. Even Mets fans in the comments absolutely hate it. What a treat for everyone in Philly.
Who inside the Mets organization thought this was a good idea? That looks horrible and on top of that, very uncomfortable. They couldn’t slim that patch down and just have a red rectangle around the New York Presbyterian logo?
Like seriously?Â
I have been dreading seeing the Phillies uniforms with these dumb sponsor patches on them but at the very least, they literally cannot get any worse that the New York Mets so at least we have that going for us.Â
We’re still awaiting the Phillies sponsor so hopefully this article doesn’t make me look like more of an idiot than I already am but whatever. There will be no player numbers on the left sleeve of the Phillies’ uniforms this season, because it’s reportedly being left blank to make way for an incoming jersey sponsor, so we’ll find out soon enough.
