Prospect Watch: Dalibor Dvorsky has 4-goal game vs Germany

Dailbor Dvorsky, a prospect expected to go between the 7-10 range in a couple of months, had himself a day vs Germany. Slovakia beat GER 6-4 and Dvorsky finished the game with 4G-1A.
5 points for the 17-year-old.
Apparently, Dvorsky is starting to turn some heads, and some of them are from within the Flyers org.
Dvorsky had 4 of the 5 Slovakian goals and scored the 3rd goal to tie the game up with under 10 minutes remaining in the period. His 4th goal of the game came with 2:28 left in the 3rd period.
He’s just everywhere all the time.
I’ve seen talk about how he’s not the best skater but to me, he’s just one of those players that’s always in the right spots and doesn’t have to be an elite skater for his type of play to translate due to his high IQ and positional awareness.
And yeah, these early preliminary-round games are usually blowouts. The lop side of talent is very evident, but it’s still nice to see these kids put up points. Dvorsky is still 17 (18 in June) so it’s not like he’s a grown-ass man playing these kids. He’s a kid himself.

He’ll never be a straightforward burner like say, Oliver Moore, but he has the skill and shot to make up for it. Not to mention his defensive abilities for a kid so young are very impressive.
Dvorsky is now tied with another 2023 hopeful top-10 pick, Ryan Leonard, with 8P in 4 games in the tournament

Again, these players are projected to be picked right around 7-10 improving their draft stock only helps the Flyers. Maybe a team before 7 loves Dvorsky and picks him? Then everything changes.
Cheers to a little optimism going into this May 8th draft lottery.
