WATCH: Chicago Cubs fan sends phone up the aisle at Wrigley Field to get girls number

With the help of other fans in behind him, a Chicago Cubs fan passed his phone up the bleachers at Wrigley Field with hopes to get her number and shockingly, it worked to perfection.

Definitely the right move by calling the girl once you got the number. That ensures that the number is real and adds the perfect finishing touch to the video with the girl absolutely CHEESIN’ when she picks up the phone.
We could have a slight issue, however…

Is this girl married?!
Holy shit that would be awkward.
There’s a lot of people in the Twitter replies saying that’s not a wedding ring. Are they just bots her this girls friends trying to bail her out of an unintentional viral moment?
I have no idea.
I initially started writing this article to say how great of a move it was to pick up a girl this way at a baseball game but now, I feel like I’m breaking up a marriage. At the same time, it’s probably for the best if this is how things are going down at Wrigley Field on a girls night out.
Of course, this girl could be married and is just playing along with this dude since he went through this whole ordeal to get her number. If you’re in a trusting relationship, that’s really no big deal at all and you can’t really blame her for laying into the the scene.
At the same time, could you imagine this girls husband at home scrolling through Twitter and then seeing his wife smiling ear to ear as she picks up her phone in a viral video to talk to some bro that just pulled off this multi-layered move to get her number?
Definitely going to be an interesting conversation once she gets home.
Regardless, this is a completely different scene than what we witnessed at the other ball park in Chicago, where White Sox fans just beat the living crap out of each other last week.
For the sake of this article, let’s operate under the assumption she’s not married and (for once) agree with the replies on Twitter.
I know that’s a crazy thing to do but I really can’t be writing a post about an alleged married woman getting picked up at Wrigley Field by another dude. That’s violation of Bro Code Article 4 Sec 30 in the official handbook.
Not because I wouldn’t rat this girl out for being a snake wife, but I would genuinely feel for her alleged husband and couldn’t imagine seeing face when he finds out this is happening.
Have a heart, people. That would be really sad for everyone involved.
Also, we could take the route that this was an entire staged video and the guy passing up his phone is actually her husband. Is it possible all the fellas got their own row to get away from the wives for a bit and we have the girls a few rows behind within shouting distance?
Sure it is and honestly, that sounds like the right move when attending a sporting event. At least in that case, you’ll never end up wasted and doing something disgusting in the stands like we saw with the Dallas Stars couple sucking face during a hockey game.
Plus, if this turns out to be a completely staged and I’m writing about this couple trying to make TikTok videos during a baseball game, putting a dark cloud of shame over America’s Past Time, I would be legitimately upset.
So really, that leaves us with just an organic, move from a smooth operator using the crowd to aid him in getting this girls number, only to then call her once right from the stands once he had it. Regardless of the details behind it, you can’t ignore the girl’s smile as she picked up the phone.
I just wish she took the phone and threw it onto the field.
That would have been one of the best “fans in the stands” videos EVER and honestly, it she would have been a viral sensation and been all over major news websites and television broadcasts with guys going crazy across America trying to find out who she is.
Really at any point, in the video, if someone took the phone and threw it, that would have been the right move. Maybe I have a cold, dead, heart (I do) but that’s a million times better than a nice video that ends with a guy getting a girls number. Instead, all we got were the rest of the fellas in the video cheesing harder than the girl who got the number.

To build on that, maybe a nice speech about watching baseball and how there is no time for this type of shit happening in the stands while the Cubbies sit in third place in the NL Central behind the Brew Crew and the first place Buccos would be nice too.
Instead, this video will still go viral and maybe they’ll go out a few times before the entire thing fizzes out and her life returns to normal.
Not the worst thing that could happen but certainly not making the most out of the situation and capitalizing on it like “The Masters Girl” did at Augusta.
