It seems like Nolan Smith wanted to be an Eagle before he was even drafted, especially after seeing who was at his draft party

The Philadelphia Eagles, also known as the Philadelphia Bulldogs, continued their draft dominance last night by selecting edge-rusher Nolan Smith with the 30th pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Howie Roseman has now drafted four Georgia defensemen (Smith, Carter, Jordan Davis, Nakobe Dean) in the last two years in an attempt to rebuild the historical 2021 Georgia defense.
Nolan Smith held his NFL Draft party down in Georgia and had a ton of people in attendance, including his family, friends, and a few former teammates that you may recognize.

Eagles LB Nakobe Dean was the first to congratulate Smith on his selection, and the boys were obviously fired up about being reunited. Another angle was released right before Smith was picked, and it seems like he was hoping to be an Eagle before the draft even started.
