Ranger Suarez’s return date announced; Phillies will tweak rotation this weekend in Colorado

The Philadelphia Phillies will tweak their starting rotation as they head out west to Colorado and San Francisco for a six-game road trip.
Phillies Weekend Rotation
Rob Thomson announced today that Ranger Suarez will return to the Phillies rotation on Saturday night vs. the Colorado Rockies. The Phils will skip Bailey Falter’s scheduled start, which was supposed to be Saturday.
Taijuan Walker will open up the new series on Friday night, coming off a great start on Sunday. Aaron Nola will go for the 3:10 matinee on Sunday, and Bailey Falter will the series opener Monday in San Francisco. Zack Wheeler will face off against Alex Cobb on Tuesday.
The Phillies have had three clutch days off over the last two weeks which has given them the ability to switch around their rotation. Falter has struggled this season, holding an 0-6 record with a 5.75 ERA and a 1.139 WHIP.
The Fightins take the field today at 4:05 looking for their third consecutive win and 2-game sweep of the Blue Jays.
