Kelce and Johnson are, without question, the best players in the league at their positions. They’re two future Hall of Famers who somehow still play like they’re in the prime of their careers, despite being well over 30.
Even though BG didn’t play as many snaps as he’s accustomed to last season, his pass rushing efficiency sky rocketed. He posted a career-high 11 sacks while logging just 43 percent of the team’s defensive snaps, the lowest percentage of snaps he’s played in a season since 2014.
Then we Big Play Slay, who’s one of the only corners over 30 years old who still has juice left. Corners fall off rather quickly when they begin to age, but Slay has actually gotten better. He’s made back-to-back Pro Bowls between 2021-’22 and has accumulated six interceptions over the past two years.
Despite their age, all four of these guys will play a pivotal role in the Eagles success once again in 2023.
