Nick Castellanos reveals Scooby-Doo as his favorite superhero in shocking interview

Phillies All-Star and future Gold Glover Nick Castellanos has been making his media rounds in Seattle. With so many interviews, these guys are bound to get some odd questions, and Casty took full advantage of the situation as only he could.
Castellanos was asked his favorite superhero and responded with a potentially controversial pick: Scooby-Doo.
Scooby-Doo is a superhero. And that’s the bottom line because Nick Castellanos said so.
It genuinely does make sense when he breaks it down. Sure, the pooch isn’t single-handedly saving cities or using supernatural powers, but he does solve the shit out of mysteries.
Plus, the 2002 movie Scooby-Doo made the same at the box office as the most recent iteration of The Flash. $55 million dollars.
Accounting for inflation, that means Scooby-Doo is a bigger superhero than The Flash.
The best part of that clip has to be that he seems almost insulted the interviewer made him elaborate. If I was in his shoes, I would’ve asked Nick to do the same, and I would have wound up with egg on my face.
No matter how you slice it, you just can’t argue with his point. Sure, you could try and poke holes in it, but that’d just make you out to be a douchebag.
I just hope we get a crossover episode sometime in the near future. The first episode? Figuring out why Scott Kingery isn’t on the Phillies’ big-league roster.
