Ever since leaving the Eagles this offseason, CJ Gardner-Johnson has tried his best to burn all of his bridges.

First, he tried to clown the organization for not paying up to keep him, even though the team actually offered him a better contract than what he got in Detroit. And now, he’s throwing shade at the good people of Philadelphia.

In a recent Twitch stream, one of his viewers asked him what his least favorite part of Philadelphia was. His answer: the people.

“My least favorite thing, the people. They’re fucking obnoxious. Can’t stand the fuckers.”

Honestly, he’s right. We are pretty god damn obnoxious, but that’s just who we are.

CJGJ later said his favorite thing about the city was the weather, which is objectively way worse than the actual people. To each their own, I suppose.

I’ve seen some Eagles fans take serious offense to Gardner-Johnson’s comments here, but it doesn’t seem like he’s really coming at the fans specifically. It feels like he’s just talking about the average Philadelphian. I mean, he did get his car stolen after the Eagles divisional round game this year, so I can see where he’s coming from.
