Team Sea Lions: Tourists flea beach in San Diego as sea lions fight to take their cove back from disgusting humans

Mother Nature’s children finally struck back against disgusting tourists earlier this week as a group of California sea lions charged towards a group of people that decided to take a swim in their cove.
California Sea Lions Charge Towards Humans in San Diego Cove
Beachgoers at a cove in California made a run for it after two sea lions seemingly charged at people on the shore. A video shared by Instagram user @whoisjaphet shows two sea lions taking over the beach amid summer crowds at rocky La Jolla Cove in San Diego, California, on Sunday, July 23.
“Please give that large, male sea lion plenty of room,” a lifeguard can be heard saying over a loudspeaker. “They have bitten people, and they are protected animals.”
My whole thing is why the fuck were people down at the cove in the first place?
I’m not going anywhere near a beach where there are sea lions mating, sun bathing and swimming.
People should 100% know better and even the lifeguard on the loudspeaker said “hey everyone, stay away from the sea lions, they have bit people”.
Uhhh ya think?
Look at these Sea Lions. This one is a 600lb beauty protecting it’s cove.

Credit to them. I am Team Sea Lion all day everyday, baby.
Get the fuck outta the water already.
According to the New York Post article, San Diego already posted signs last year warning visitors to say away from the sea lions in the cove. In California, harassing the sea lions is against the law.
So yes, the obvious question is why people were down in the cove in the first place.
At that point, it’s swim at your own risk and humans are 100% at fault for bothering the sea lions who are just enjoying their natural habitat.
