WATCH: Dodgers reliever Joe Kelly strikes out Fernando Tatis Jr, calls him a ‘fucking bitch’

Joe Kelly is back in Los Angeles after being dealt from the White Sox to the Dodgers on July 28th ahead of the MLB Trade Deadline and in just his second appearance, has already gone viral for his antics on the mound.
Last night, Joe Kelly found himself going viral yet again after a wild 8-pitch at-bat against San Diego Padres’ Fernando Tatis Jr.
In the bottom of the fifth inning during last night’s game, Kelly fired the first few pitches of an at-bat to Tatis Jr high and inside before striking him out on a 100mph fastball.
After striking him out, Joe Kelly called Fernando Tatis Jr a “fucking bitch”.

Joe Kelly is no stranger to controversy and has a long history of being somewhat of a “loose cannon” on the mound.
Honestly, I absolutely love it.
I wish the Phillies would show half the amount of swagger on the mound but instead, we’re here in Philadelphia giving standing ovations to Trea Turner and losing to the Kansas City Royals.
Joe Kelly vs The Houston Astros
He’s been suspended multiple times throughout his career for throwing at batters and back in 2020 delivered the now-infamous pouty face against the Houston Astros. Kelly threw at Alex Bergman and Carlos Correa then went on to taunt Correa, leading to a bench-clearing standoff.

Joe Kelly vs New York Yankees
In 2018, Joe Kelly was pitching for the Boston Red Sox and after hitting Yankees batter Tyler Austin in the back, the two ended up on the ground throwing fists at each other in a benches clearing brawl.
As for last night, the Dodgers ended up reclaiming the lead against the Padres and walked away with a 10-5 victory in San Diego. Joe Kelly tossed 1.1 innings, allowing one hit, a walk, and a strikeout. Fernando Tatis Jr. went 0-5 went 0-5 with a strikeout.
