Thomas Booker, 6-10, 301 pounds, was a 2022 5th-round pick who played 10 games with the Texans last season. The Eagles can never have enough defensive linemen.
Le’Raven Clark, 30, returns to the practice squad after spending the 2021 season in Philadelphia. He played in four games for the Eagles that year and has 18 starts under his belt. Good veteran depth.
The most intriguing signing is CB Tiawan Mullen, the cousin of former NFL MVP Lamar Jackson. He’s an aggressive defensive back who plays with urgency and runs a 4.4 40-time. Mullen recorded five INTs and a pass breakup this preseason with the Chargers — more young talent for the Eagles at corner.
#Chargers UDFA DB Tiawan Mullen (42) consistently seeks out contact from the slot. Here, he goes from the right hash to the opposite sideline to chase down the Saints end around. Impressive instincts and range. pic.twitter.com/9MO29Em5Bj
