Roster Moves: Eagles add RB to practice squad, sign Britain Covey to active roster
The Eagles have announced several roster moves on Wednesday morning.
After suffering a torn pectoral muscle in Thursday night’s matchup vs. Minnesota, CB Avonte Maddox was placed on injured reserve.
In a corresponding move, the Eagles signed punt returner Britain Covey to the active roster.

Covey has served as the team’s primary punt returner in the first two games, averaging 10.7 yards per return (9th in the NFL).
The Eagles also signed RB Bryant Koback to the practice squad. Koback went undrafted in 2022 and has yet to make his NFL debut. The Toledo product tallied over 4,000 rushing yards and 52 TDs across his four years in college.
