Jalen Carter continues to DOMINATE offensive lines, should easily feast on the Washington Commanders Sunday at The Linc
For the third straight week, Jalen Carter was an absolute force on the Philadelphia Eagles’ defensive line during Monday Night Football against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Eagles defense as a whole dominated the Bucs offense, holding them to a miserable 174 yards of total offense and just 11 points in the win.

Carter specifically, had the two biggest defensive plays of the game. He chased down Bucs’ running back Rachaad White and punched the ball out to force a fumble, while pushing the entire offensive line into the back of the end zone, setting up an open lane for Nicholas Morrow to record a safety.
Jalen Carter Forced Fumble
On the night, Carter notched his first career forced fumble, a half-sack, a quarterback hit, and a few more pressures bring his season total to 15 over 89 total snaps played – the most by a defensive tackle in the entire NFL over the first three weeks of the season.
Jalen Carter put up these numbers while playing less than 50% of the defensive snaps:
- 5 total pressures (most on team)
- 0.5 sacks
- 1 QB hit
- 1 forced fumble
- 2 total tackles
Teams are double-teaming Jalen Carter 70% of the time as a rookie, and it still isn’t enough. pic.twitter.com/2bUgn06Ikx

The Eagles will host the Washington Commanders on Sunday afternoon at Lincoln Financial Field, looking to improve to 4-0 on the season.
The Commanders have allowed a total of 19 sacks through the first three games, SIX MORE than the next closest team. (Shoutout Stevie Stats)
Talk about the perfect opportunity for the Eagles’ defense to have a “coming out” party in front of a home crowd. I fully expect Jalen Carter and the rest of the defensive to dominate the Commanders this weekend.
Yes, I’m looking at you Haason Reddick.
