The Philadelphia Phillies were one of 19 MLB teams that did not select anyone in…

Mystery Phillies fan bought $4,500 worth of beer for his section
Not all heroes wear capes. Some don’t even show their face. Both are true of this anonymous Phillies fan who went out of his way to buy his whole section beer during Game 2 of the Wild Card.
Phillies fans were greeted by free beers not once, but twice:

According to the vendor, this fan has done this before at both Phillies and Eagles games. Whoever has season tickets in their section might be some of the luckiest people in Philadelphia.
Everyone loves an anonymous benefactor, especially when that person is getting them drunk for free.
One thing to note is that, despite the multitude of beers being handed out, I don’t see one drop spilled. Phillies fans know the value of a dollar, but they know the value of a free beer even better.
Spilling a free beer is like dropping a baby off a balcony. It’s abuse, and no one in their right mind would stand for it.
I will say, I feel bad for whoever bought the beer for the Phillies clubhouse, because about 85% of it wound up on the floor. But these guys obviously get a pass.

That was very cool to hear! Nice gesture!
