With a three-game road trip next on the slate for the Philadelphia Flyers, Olle Lycksell…

Flyers at Golden Knights; NHL set to unveil “Frozen Frenzy” Tonight
If you like NFL Redzone on Sundays, you’ll like what the NHL is doing tonight.
For the first time ever, the NHL is unveiling “Frozen Frenzy“. A full slate of matchups starting at 6:00 p.m. with 32 teams, 16 games, and a whole lot of hockey!
I love to see this from the NHL personally. We always sit here and talk about how bad of a job the NHL does at marketing their own game and how they’re the reason why other major sports are slowly taking over ratings (MLS).
And while this can all still be true (it is), they did a good job here of trying to grow the game. Who doesn’t want to see big hits, goals, and power plays all night?
Whether or not this works and sticks is a whole different conversation but at least you see some sort of effort out of the marketing department over in the NHL offices. It’s nice to know they aren’t all asleep at the wheel!
The Flyers, of course, will play at 11 p.m. against the defending Stanley Cup Champions. Whoever (if it was a group effort then all of you) made the schedule for tonight’s “Frozen Frenzy”, we will see you in the depths of hell for making all of Philadelphia watch the Flyers (way) after dark.
I didn’t even think about the fact that a lot of happy/sad Phillies fans (depending on whatever happens at 8 p.m.) will be sitting down on their couches (or lying in bed) to watch the game so you’re off the hook a tad.
After Ersson got the start against the Stars on Saturday, Carter Hart is most likely set to get the nod tonight between the pipes.
Hart is 3-1-0 with a 2.01 GAA and a .929 SV% this season.

In all seriousness, I think Bobby Brink will score his first NHL goal against the defending champs tonight. The kid has been one of the best players on the team in terms of creating scoring chances off his stick and tonight he’s going to get rewarded for that play.
So if you’re feeling really spicy and want a parlay that is a little more reasonable:
Flyers +1.5
Bobby Brink to score a goal
+558 on FanDuel.
All in all, this should be a fun and exciting night for the NHL. Showcase this amazing game we all love and pray the boys give you a night to remember.
