Watkins landed on IR in October with a hamstring injury and has only appeared in three games this season, catching four passes for 21 yards. Philly could certainly use the extra hands with Dallas Goedert on injured reserve.
The Eagles signed Julio Jones a few weeks back, but Sirianni still intends to involve Watkins in the offense. Watkins, a 2020 sixth-round pick, is in the final year of his rookie contract.
