Pokemon Card Brawl Erupts at Truro, Nova Scotia McDonalds

Oof. Canadian fights are boring as hell compared to the videos that we get in the United States of American’s beating the ever-living piss out of each other, right? 

Honestly, we need more people like this gentleman right here as McDonalds spread like cancer all over the globe, here in America, we need people behind enemy lines up North ensuring that our sacred dining establishment is living up to expectations and operating based off good old United States of America  standards, right? 

Look, it’s kind of hard to tell what this dude is actually mad about. Looks like he ordered a few Happy Meals and wanted the Pokemon Cards that should have come with it but instead, since he’s a grown ass adult, this McDonalds robbed him of his nostalgia meal and now he’s pissed off and wanted a refund and a complaint because he wasn’t getting what he ordered. 

I will say, that’s a pretty surprising and honorable move from a Canadian. Didn’t know they had it in them to act in such a way. The other possibility is that the McDonalds did NOT have anymore Pokemon Cards in stock and this dude was an actual psycho that was going to be a problem regardless of what unfolded. 

Customer Service 101: The best ability is availability. Either McDonalds has the Pokemon Cards and if a Happy Meal is ordered, then that customer gets the cards. If they are out of stock, the customer should be notified of that before purchase.

Boom problem solved. 

Instead, we have a long, six minute video that just kept getting worse and worse. I will say, I have no idea why anyone would ever want to waste their time like this filming a “fight” inside any type of restaurant or fast foot establishment

I mean honestly, I just watched the first two minutes of that video and was more upset with the woman filming than anyone else who made a cameo. Closer to the end of the video, she even says that “she hadn’t even ordered yet” and if we’re being honest, telling Mr. Pokemon that she had no intention of putting the video on the internet was complete bullshit too. 

Good rule of thumb is that if people are acting crazy in a fast foot restaurant then the best option is to leave immediately.

Taking out your camera and filming, and then saying you weren’t even going to post it on the internet until your Pokemon guy demanded that it was posted, is just weird behavior. Go home or I don’t know, drive 3 miles in any direction and you’ll run into another McDonalds or fast foot restaurant to get food from. 

I also think it’s fair to question why this dude was trying to get Pokemon Cards at a McDonalds in the first place. That doesn’t seem like someone who really knows what they are doing in the first place. I wanted to refer to this guy as a Pokemon Master but this type of behavior is making it hard to do so. 

Anyways, back to the video above. After Josh Allen and the Pokemon guy were separated, I think my favorite line in the entire video happened. 

• Pokemon Guy: “Who are you?” 
• Josh Allen: “You’re fucking worst nightmare, bitch.”

Just perfect delivery on that one. Nice work by all involved.

Also the ensuing “barks” from the Pokemon guy after a misfire on an insult to Josh Allen’s ankle size was gold. After you try to get the upper ground by commenting on another mans ankles, you really have no choice but to just start barking and hope for the best. 

From that point on, you know there was a fight coming. The only problem is that you forgot this was unfolding in Canada and they are all a bunch of pussies up North. I mean seriously, we are halfway through a 6 minute video before contact was made and then it turned into these two basically hugging each other in front of the register while the guy working at McDonalds politely approaches them and says “excuse me, are you done?” 

Of course, the only other option was to start throwing chairs. After five minutes of nothing, it’s your only other choice to get the fight over and done with. 

Note: Why am I writing 400+ words on this video? Well, it’s a weird time of year and not much else to talk about so we’re just hitting on what’s hot online, baby.
