AJ Brown is tired of talking to Philly media and he has every right to be
Eagles wideout AJ Brown hasn’t spoken to the Philly media all week and there’s been plenty of speculation as to why he’s declining to speak. You don’t have to look very far to find the reasoning behind it, and in the end, it seems like a lot of fans are actually on his side.
AJ Brown hasn’t come out to say why he’s not talking to the media, but he posted a short snippet of an infamous Kevin Durant rant from a few years back when he was still playing for the Golden State Warriors. In short, Durant goes off on the media at a press conference, pointing out how everything he says is taken out of context and skewed to fit a narrative.

Scrolling through the replies, it’s pretty obvious where the majority of the fanbase falls on this issue. It’s been said plenty of times before, but I’ll reiterate it one more time for those who are unaware of this sentiment: Nobody hates the Philly media more than Philly fans.
Say what you want about the state of the team right now, they’re 11-4, have a playoff spot clinched, and are on the brink of clinching their second-straight division title – something that hasn’t been done in the NFC East in 20 years. And all of this is coming off the heels of a heartbreaking Super Bowl loss.
This is a good Eagles team, perhaps a great one. Yet, with every new issue of the Philadelphia Inquirer, or some other media outlet in the city, the narrative that this team is in disarray continues to be pushed. AJ Brown doesn’t want to speak to the media because he clearly sees what happens when he does. Or how the media speculates on every single interaction he has on the sideline. It’s exhausting.
Kudos to AJ for just playing football. In reality, that’s the only thing us fans actually care about. Nobody gives a shit what the media has to say about any of it.
