ESPN apologizes for airing footage from Bourbon Street in New Orleans, woman flashing the crowd during Texas-Washington College Football Playoff semifinal

Chaos unfolded on ESPN during the broadcast of the Texas-Washington College Football Playoff semifinal game as the broadcast returned from commercial break with live footage of Bourbon Street in New Orleans, Louisiana. 

ESPN aired footage of people walking down Bourbon Street in New Orleans. Unfortunately for broadcast, the footage showed a woman mid-flash as she looked up at presumably, a few dudes ready to toss some beads down into the crowd.

Of course, ESPN issued some bullshit apology about the incident which honestly, seemed a little unnecessary. 

We have (somehow) survived to see the year 2024 and an innocent flash of titties is probably the most “PG” thing that’s happened over the past few years in terms of pop culture and society as a whole, right?

At the same time, whoever was manning the camera has to keep their head on a swivel. You’re walking down Bourbon Street at night for crying out loud. What exactly did you think was going to happen?

New Year’s Day. New Orleans. Bourbon Street.

That’s no place for a camera crew unless you’re intentionally trying to see some titties or you’re filming a “Man on the Street” video and want to see a bunch of drunk pedestrians doing outlandish things for the camera. 

Not to mention, we’re talking Pac-12 After Dark and a college football game. Visit any campus and you’ll see something like this happening the second the sun goes down until the wee hours of the morning.
