Eagles Buzz: AJ Brown calls out Philadelphia Inquirer’s Marcus Hayes for writing hit piece

AJ Brown’s heavily anticipated meeting with the press took place this afternoon, and it was nothing short of legendary.

A lot of great quotes, but my favorite was him calling out Marcus Hayes for his hit piece he essentially wrote about the Eagles.

I will not be linking that article here because you can easily find it, although, just a heads-up, it comes behind a paywall. So with that in mind, let’s address what really matters.

AJ Brown’s Message to Eagles Media

“Honestly, I’m kinda glad; what’s his name? What’s the reporter’s name? Marcus! I’m kinda glad he’s not here because I was gonna ask him because I wanted to know, like, who’s saying that? Because I know my teammates ride for me, and I ride for them.”

The best part about this entire thing is that Hayes pulled the ultimate coward move by not showing up today. You lose all credibility in my eyes after pulling something like that.

These media members want these players and coaches to show up and take punches all the time, but they can’t handle the heat when the roles are reversed. Coward shit. Also, kudos to AJ Brown, a total class act and true leader we saw face the mob of journalists and media members today.

This is the perfect example of why Philadelphia fans deserve better. It’s why we started this blog site. We were fed up with the media constantly trying to tear down stars in this city and try and create false narratives. I don’t need to name anybody, but you all should know who I’m referring to.
