Lane Johnson rips Eagles teammates’ attitude during games after embarrassing 32-9 playoff loss
Lane Johnson is not happy with some of his Eagles teammates after their piss-poor showing against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (as well as the last seven weeks of the season). You may have noticed guys playing with less-than-ideal intensity and hustle over what was a very tough stretch, and veterans on the team did as well.
Lane Johnson had some harsh words at the end of a disappointing season:
Wow: Legendary #Eagles tackle Lane Johnson SHREDS his teammates approaches, saying the team needs to toughen up.

Damn. Lane was not playing around with this one. Of course, he didn’t name any names because he’s a good teammate, but he’s right in that a lot of guys have had an incredibly soft mental approach to the game.
To speculate, he’s probably addressing the majority of the defense considering they couldn’t tackle an elderly woman fresh off a double hip replacement without her picking up 5+ yards after contact. But I’m sure he has his sights set on some players on the offensive side of the ball.
Sure, as a leader on the team, you could argue he could have done more to keep the locker room from completely unraveling the way it did. But when it comes to a room of 53 grown-ass men, accountability starts with each individual.
This isn’t to say he’s completely innocent; nobody in the organization is. They all have the blood of a very promising season on their hands.
